Mark

Mark Isidore was born at 12:02 p.m.. today (Jan. 30, 2008). He weighed 8 lbs. 13 ounces and is 21 inches long. He is lovely. Emma had a cesarian after a long difficult labor, Don was with her. Mark is healthy, bright and BIG. None of us got much sleep last night, with sparse information from Don which was nerve racking for us, but he was very busy. We got to cuddle Mark I 30 minutes after birth, and we went back tonight to do some more cuddling. I wanted to cuddle Emma most. She is doing very well and has all ready stood up. This is why the young have the children.
I have pictures but I'm on Becky's computer and things aren't working between my computer, her computer and my camera. Sorry, tomorrow I'll go to a location I can get it together. It was wonderful to talk with all the people on the call list, and thanks for everyone's good wishes/prayers.
I tried to knit a hat, but I'm having trouble understanding the pattern. I'll have to get help. It was super nice to knit with the special needles that Beth sent me for my X-Mas/ Birthday present.
