Another day in Paradise AKA Knitterly

No pictures as I'm too tired to down load them, I've had the best day. I met a lady that was born in the same hospital that I was, she was visiting her daughter from Mass. I helped her pick out yarn that was colorful, um hard job...
I found out that I have another intern this summer, and while no one but no one could replace Katie I am excited about the increase in production.
Then Courtney called and has everything well in hand in the production room. How great are cell phones? I got to talk to Elizabeth, the first yarn shop to take a chance on carrying our yarn, Knit Knot in Portland OR. If you are ever in Portland this yarn shop is a little jewel in the Pearl District. Elizabeth wrote the pattern for the diagonal scarf that is so super for showcasing our yarn.
Steven and Becky have been co-ordinating meal planning for our Mother's Day plans. I also talked to Autumn at Knit Stop and the yarn arrived safely, yeah. Shelli talked to Suzanne at Hill Country Weavers she also received her order.
I'm really looking forward to spinning at Sticks and Strings (Scarsdale NY) and talking yarn talk and meeting a whole new yarn shop, if you are any where near Scarsdale May 16th and 17th please stop by.

The highlight for me today was teaching Alan (of Sandi and Alan fame) to spin. He is such a great new spinner and we are all so pleased with his progress today. We also talked about the new web-site that is in the making. Gale was the other student, a newer spinner but had fun spinning her own sheep's wool but also Super-washed Merino, yak down (she liked that) and Mohair! She had such a soft and gentle hand that it was a pleasure to sit and watch them both do so well.
One of the best things that happened today (in a day filled with great things) was I fit into a skirt that I bought too tight. I had the button on all day, YEAH! I'm really happy about that. Another night in the Temple of Yarn.... it doesn't get much better than this. Suzanne another skein of beaded yarn in Camel and Silk is almost done!

Aww I am sad I am not your intern but if I was going to pay all that money I wanted to go to PERU which I am. But keep that in mind when I broke when I get back and Ill need to spin for you. Sounds like all is going good.
